K75 steering head Fluidbloc dampener.

No longer available from BMW. Anyone have personal experience re eliminating it?

I took mine out, cleaned it, re-lubed and put it back in.

Thanks Tim. Mine is relatively new so I will treat it gently. I must've got one of the last ones available around 2013. At that time an eBay vendor had the special grease but it's no longer listed. What grease did you use?

I've been watching for a decent set of Showa forks for my '87T and if I find them I'll be going into this area so at the least I'll need to renew the grease.

OK thanks for the reply--appreciated and a big help. The Dow vacuum grease is available on eBay.
