After a LONG day in the saddle at the end of MotoBrick Iderhoe MotoMayhem, riding from Clarkston, WA to Baker City, OR via The Rattlesnake and Hell's Canyon, I was tired and hungry. I turned off Highway 86 into Halfway, OR and stumbled across The Stockmen's Restaurant & Lounge on Main Street. Knowing that I didn't want anything TOO heavy, I couldn't make up my mind but was drawn to the Hell's Canyon Burger on the menu. Turns out is was an EXCELLENT choice !!
Hand formed patty cooked properly, lightly grilled bun, sliced cheese, deli ham and a fried egg combined with tater tots (or fries if you prefer) and the usual garnish made a PERFECT combination. The usual condiments also included mayo for your own level of application and I washed it down with some of their pretty tasty iced tea.
I don't know when I'll be in the neighborhood again but I will DEFINITELY make The Sportsmen's Restaurant & Lounge a lunch or dinner stop and tell all my moto-friends travelling through the area. ;D

Once I had a Collie pup. Dug a hole and covered him up. Now I sit there by the hour. Waiting for a Collie-flower.
