A seat for a '93K1100LT, but I think seats from K75 etc will fit. Russel, Mayer, Spencer etc. Just completed a SS1000 Iron Butt Ride and it was obvious, my butt isn't made of iron! Let me know what ya got. thanks! Mike.

A couple of options to consider before replacing your seat:
Gel padded bicycle shorts,
a sheepskin cover for the seat.

Thanks Scott, I hadn't thought about the shorts, will look into it. My saddle has been good for average vacation travel; 300-500 mile days but 500+ was too much. Air pad and gel pads might be the way to go also. I am looking at videos about rebuilding your own seat.

id order a russell when they announce their next sale... have had 4 of them... all 2nd hand... i have a custom mayer... butts im gonna order a russell this winter... they are that good...
you should have it by next year riding season...
its gonna be a grand when its all done and delivered...
can transfer it to your next motobrick or sell it for nearly what you paid...
its the best motobricking investment you can make right after catz xlo acid orange lights in this motobrickers opinion...

Thanks Johnny, The scary part of what you said is that it makes sense. :eek: :yes I think I just found my Christmas gift. I have some long trips planned next year and a pain in the ass would spoil everything.

Snowman, just fyi..... I have 2 Russels and a Corbin. I prefer the Russel over the Corbin, as does the wife...... :2thumbup:
