This topic was brought up last February by member GB805 on his K75, now I seem to be in the exact same boat with my 1986 K100RS, however I shall add one more clue, in the last few days mine has definitely gotten worse, it would always sort of run not too bad above 2k , now it barely got me home keeping it spooled up to 4-5 thou...something is changing, Ive put in pretty much the same efforts as the other feller, my spare Hall effect, etc. However this morning, back to basics, I would never do an airhead tune up without starting with a valve check, we'll see how that goes.
