mechanical resonance

Inspiration to whip out some electrical mods for my ride in the BMW stable of Steeds yesterday afternoon.

Twin relay H4 headlight setup, one for low beam 60 watts, second for high beam 140 watts. High end Japanese PIAA plasma bulbs, impressive lumen output, rivals HID.

SAE cigarette power outlet port "un-switched", worth the extra $ spent on the SW Moto brand. Snug fit, waterproof, VERY pleased with the end result. Only draws 5 volts, currently testing to see if there's any appreciable battery discharge. Hopefully, I can just leave it plugged in 24/7/365.

Undecided if I want run a HL modulator yet. YES, a modulator garnishes attention/presence. K 75 has a Kisan light strutter, at this point in  time, a programmable LED rear brake light enhancement might be ticket instead.

Scored a charging/power cord for the Garmin Nuvi GPS off ebay. Cat's ass, I'm NOW able to run 100% display brightness without the battery saver kicking in. Next is a Aqua or Arkmore all weather case and I'm done farkling the navigation system. FWIW brickheads, I can show you HOW to install topo & google mapsets on your GPS unit ___.   O:-)

Potter county northbound today. Lucky, traffic was real light going up with only a smattering of gas drilling bullshit gaggles on the way home. Turned cold, this time around, I was smart enough to remember my heated gear.

Woolrich store for a rest room break. Freaked out as there was fresh oil on the left side of the engine. Semi limped back into Billtown in fear the engine would lose oil pressure. Besides, NO real tools to R&R roadside anyway.

Turned out, when I installed the SW Moto engine guards this AM, disturbed the oil tank slightly, read Hardley Ablsesome boys are laughing currently.

As a wrench, ______ BMW's do NOT piss on the floor period, enough said.  OK, call me paranoid but at least I'm intelligent enough to sort out the problem instead of "drip drip" morphing meltdown.

Weird, this F is all new to me for mechanical resonance. I can't wait to upgrade the rear shock. Ohlin, White Power or Wilber is in the future.
