Thinking about replacing my 1991 K75s after 15 years
« on: August 07, 2015, 12:58:06 AM »
The K75s has been a great biked for me. I like that it is a sport bike but I can take a long trip in comfort. I have always like how it looks. My wife rides with me a little. After 15 years I am just ready to try something new. If I had the space I would keep the K75s because it has been a wonderful companion.
I have looked at the F800S and F800ST. I have also looked at the R1100s.
Any recommendations?

I found the 800s to be very vibey on my test rides. I eventually went with an FJR1300 as a 2nd bike.

I met a guy in Colorado on our ride this summer with F800GT, he was putting along at 85 like the rest of us.  Stopped at rest stop with him and it looked like a very nice bike.  He traded his R1200RT for it, likes it better, less weight!
