K75 broken odometer

 :dunno2: Ok, I need some tech support. My odometer broke on a 100 mile ride and started working the next day, but only for 3/10ths of a mile. Speedometer appears to be unaffected. Anyone? Bueller?
current: 92 K75 73000 mi purchased 5/15/14, Honda VFR 750 3154 mi (project)
Past: Honda CB500T, CB650 Nighthawk, CB750k, CB900f, GL1000, Suzuki GS650ex, 71 TS250

overseas speedometer and instrument in Austin Texas can repair your odometer. there are options that you can buy the gears and change them yourself also.

If you choose to DIY, it's not a bad job at all. Buy a set of the Series 1 gears from the above link and it'll take about an hour of relaxed desk work. I wasn't able to pull off the smallest gear from my cluster when I did the replacements but it wasn't one of the broken ones so I just left it as is.

I was going to add that you can just replace the whole odo -- p/n 62 11 2 305 175 on the MaxBMW fiche -- but then I noticed that they're now charging almost $140 for it. Yikes. Seems like just yesterday it was $99.
