I'm selling here so that a real enthusiast can have it.
It is best offer. I have medical bills to pay thanks to a suprise surgery and my time is limited as I work on the road.
It currently does not run. It stopped running all of a sudden.
I am 90% sure it is a fuel delivery issue.
I have recently changed the fuel filter with the Napa gold.
The bike has an after market k&n air filter.
I believe that the issue may be with the pump and/or injectors.
The bike chiked out at start one day. I took the battery out, the tank off, checked all connections, tightened and refit the grounds, purged fuel lines, put it back together. It started right up and ran reliably for a month then recently choked out again at start up. Repeated deeper troubleshooting and changed fuel filter which had manufacture date of 08 and seemed hard to blow through. I also dissasembled and cleaned the starter though it is working fine. No dice.
The original tool kit is present and included.
Tires are good.
Heated handgrips, I believe the throttle side heater has malfunctioned.
Years of maintenance history from previous owners included. As well as repair manual though it is not as good as this forum.
The fairings were gone when I bought it and the side fairings we held on with zip ties and still are.
The tank has a dent on the clutch side from an accident in October '13 where I was going waaay too fast through some twist and went off the road. I high sided and was thrown. The instrument cluster was replaced. The previous cluster had a non functioning speedo/odo. The new one works completely except the clock.
I tore down and built the bike back in my shop and it never gave me any trouble at all until recently.
I can provide pictures on request and want to sell this week(end). I am open to reasonable offers. I don't expect any low ball nonsense from kbike owners.
