Just my two-cents.

The bars do appear tilted forward.

I have a K100rs which uses the same bars.  I do a significant amount of touring.  I've found that it takes until about afternoon of the second day before I can comfortably ride 100+ miles without stopping.

The other thing about these bars, they're kinda narrow. If you have broader shoulders, that can add to your discomfort.  If I would change anything about the bars, it would be to widen them. Like the 1100 bars.

No, I am not cool.  Yes, it really is the journey.

I tried bar-backs on C-bars and then S-bars a while back and didn't like them.

The C-bars are definitely more comfortable for me but the S-bars are more fun. It's a trade-off. I'm sticking with the S-bars for a while. Probably forever. Beside getting my hands closer to the forks, the S-bars provide a better wrist angle which helps make them more comfortable than the C-bars in a way.

I'm on my bike right now at a pit stop   The s bars turned down WITH the master yoda stuff is FUN.  Tuck down to the tank kiss the mirrors and it feels like a sportbike  my elbows are down by the tank close so that MAKES you take the weight off your hands

Try not to lean your weight on the bars, grip the tank with your legs and find a comfortable position. I changed my bars to a really low position and took about a week until my back strengthened itself for the new position.

I'm glad I saw this. I had heard people rave about how comfortable the same bars are on the wrists, but hadn't noticed that myself. I'm going to try this too.

I wouldn't mind trying some barracks just for fun.  Anyone has an old pair to try let me know thx. The stock S bars are more fun but some more comfort would be nice too!
