I have no stake in this, I just saw it tonight on the Goodwill auction site. It looks to be in like-new condition and it has the serial number 72 60 2 319 240 which is on fiche as TANK-TOP BAG - MULTIVARIO 3. One of the pictures has documentation that says "Multivario III for K1/K1100LT/RS."

The auction has 5 days 16 hours to go as of 8:20 p.m. Central time on March 1st.

The current bid is $17.16. I have bought items through this website and it is legit. Plan for around $20 shipping in the U.S. I have no idea if they ship outside the U.S.

I should of added that it also has the yellow rain cover that snaps to the bag.

The bid is up to $31.

Is there any indication that the item includes the left and right "brackets" that are needed to mount it on the bike?

I bought one of these bags(didn't come with them) and found that only the left bracket is still available.  Base plate is pretty much useless without them.

If you mean the hook on the end of the base, it looks like they are there. The store's number is 1-800-989-8428 ext. 203; you could call as ask, or ask for more pictures.

And the bid is at $75.

No, there is a separate piece that attaches under the side cover on each side and extends up to receive the hook on the end of the arms on the base.  Without these brackets there is no way to attach the base to the tank.  The only bracket still available is the left.  The right is no longer available.

I don't see any sign of them in the listing, and I doubt, that if you asked, the seller would even know what you are talking about.  I hope whoever wins has access to the brackets.

Happy to be the new owner. I think I got a pretty good bargain! It's not new but it's in pretty darn good shape.   :viivi

And thanks to this site and detbmw for the heads-up. Never would have found it otherwise.

Glad a fellow bricker got it! I've been helped so much by this site and the members, I'm glad I was able to help someone out.
