Battery Magic
« on: June 19, 2015, 10:09:53 PM »
I had an old AGM motorcycle battery sitting around on the shelf that wouldn't charge. Electric start pressure washer with a dead battery. Thought I'll see if my fancy tender will charge it.  Numerous attempts and the tender kept dropping out as it evaluated the battery.  Finally wired a 6 led light across the terminals and presto! Suddenly the tender completed its evaluation and moved along into actually charging the battery without interruption. Just looked and tender reports battery fully charged and in maintenance mode.  Did the extra load of the 6 led change the charge process and if so, how and why?
