carmel valley rd...
there were 3... calling for mom...
ca 1 open... butts be on the lookout for ferrel pigs...
hit something hard butts still rolling... missed it with the front... butts hit it with the rear... so hard it knocked the mirrors off n almost wiped us out... looking back now a week later it was not an object in the road... it was a gash in the road...
kept rolling to jockos to meet viffergyrl n m.brane for the flesh of the beast...
stopped at lucia lodge for fish n chips...
lotts o construction activity all the way...
naci ferg rd...
santa rosa creek rd...
moro rock...
turn rd...
perfumo canyon rd... 100% yeeeehaaaa... moro rock in the distance...
perfumo has 3 miles of nice dirt then dumps out by avilia beach...
jockos steak house... the is the real deal... best west coast steak ever... rivals midwest steaks...
my flash wasnt working so i didnt get any good beast photos...
the next morning we went to margies diner...
j o frisco melt...
m o oatmeal...
viffergyrl n m,brane biscuits n gravy...
we split up n headed back to the bay area... the following is my report from saturday once i discovered my wheel was way bent...
missed it with the front... butts hit it with the rear... so hard it knocked the mirrors off n almost wiped us out...
rolled to jockos to meet viffergyrl n m.brane for the flesh of the beast...
discovered rear wheel bent... road scraping rubber off like sand paper...
gonna roll the 101 easy back to the bay area...

got unloaded from wrecker at the hotel n loaded onto our truck...
wild ride... bent rim caused final drive bearing failure... it took 250+ wobbly miles to do it though... gonna score wheel n final drive delivered to tracy ca by friday... gonna make the repair friday night n ride the sierra passes sat n sun...
everything is yeehaaaa for the sierra passes n iderhoe... all ch1t shall be here this week... gonna be the midnight motobrick garage friday night... we wont even roll into tracy till 9pm...
butt we come to ride... and ride we shall... ride till it wont move... 100% yeeeeeeeeeehaaaaaaaaaa...

rolled into tracy ca friday... had the new to me parts sent to tracy...
all buttoned up... it chewed the abs sensor... getting rear abs sensor fault... wont take a reset... tried 20 times... need to score a sensor... franenduck has 1 on the way...
been out test riding it hard... all is good for iderhoe... ride it till it wont move.... yeeeeeeeeeehaaaaaaaaaaaaa...
parts received...
wheel with almost almost new dunflop sportmax d220st from 20th week of 2006 + very clean rotor with abs ring...
final drive from 30k 93k1100rs...
chewed up some caliper n most of right side brake pad...
circumcised my abs sensor...
this gear oil only has 2k on it...
moly everything whether it needs it or not...
oem screw from cycle specialties... gotts that evil thread locker on it... could find a generic at the hardware store... o well...
ride on bro... best dynamic balancing ch1t ever...
non synthetic gear oil...
all done in approx 1.5 hours...
then bled rear brakes... abs unit 1st n caliper 2nd... f around with necessary boocheeee... test ride... and now we are 100% yeeeeeeeeeeeheeeeeeeeeee...
note to self...
1 connect middle hole to ground...
2 connect abs wires...
3 ignition on 30 seconds...
4 disconnect abs wires...
5 ignition off...
6 disconnect middle hole...
7 start n roll...
8 repeat approx 300 times...

There have been reports of Ride On totin' wheels going crazy outa balance and bending severely.......but you stick to that "gash in the road" story if it's workin' for ya.
Took me more than 1.5 hours to put my glove box back in. Glad you're on the road again. See ya, Fridee.
