FS: K 1100 tank bag, almost like new

For sale: K 1100 tank bag, in a very good condition - does not fit my K 100 LT so I got myself another one.
Count on getting around 70 € for this bag. Accepted method of payment: PayPal only. Willing to ship overseas too, contact me for details. Shipping to EU countries costs 32 € by airmail, signed for.

If you unzip the bag from the base, it should be engraved on the base what bikes it fits. Looking at the picture you have, that bag is NOT for an 1100. Not saying you can't make it fit an 1100, but......
The side straps go down too straight. The 1100 Tank bag side straps also will have formed flat steel hooks that will connect with mounts that come out from between the tank and side panel.
The rounded, bent wire hooks, if you will, are intended to clip on the bottom seam of the gas tank as you have done, but this design was intended for the K75's and 100's, but maybe just not the LT/RT variation because of the side panel gap between the panel and tank.

Will also delete your other duplicate post.

Thanks for deleting. Sorry to correct you, but this bag WAS made for K 1100 bikes: the base plate is showing engrawed BMW part. no. 7260 2 304 328, made for K1 and K 1100 LT/RS.

It would not fit my K 100 LT's tank, because hooks were bent in such a way that they are adjusted to K 1100 tank's edge and not mine. They kept popping off whenever I touched them with a knee, so I had to stop my bike and reattach them. Now I bought on eBay K 100's tank bag and it has different hooks - and THESE remain in place. (BTW, on this base plate there is nothing engrawed)

post up a photo of your tank without the base attached showing where you are clipping these...

you need a k100 tank bag that clips to the tank... you have a k1100 tank bag that clips to clips that screw onto the tank...

the tank bag pictured uses the clips that screw onto the tank... i think you have the wrong tank bag for that tank...

im on my phone in rural california with a poor signal or i would figger it out for you...

Obviously, K 1100's bags are no good for K 100's tanks
