RE: 1987 K75C throttle cable started sticking two weeks ago......When I relaxed my grip on the throttle twist grip it would not go back to idle sometimes...Sometimes became often....Something had to be done.. After many false starts on my own, I hired a wrench guy to come over to the house and have a look. He tried a number of things and none worked. Finally he noticed that the plastic coated cable at the throttle-end of the cable was binding against the side of the wheel near the throttle body..He trimmed off 5/8th of an inch or so of this coating (with much difficulty - it really adheres tightly to the metal) and that solved the problem....This may or may not be a heads up, but wanted to share the experience...
