New Member from Florida
« on: February 09, 2014, 11:40:19 PM »
Hi all,

I'm a new member to this forum.  I've read a few threads, and am impressed.   This group of folks to be knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly.   I'm looking forward to being a part of this community.

I own a 1987 BMW K100RS.    I've owned it since 2003, and she's gone through a lot with me, sometimes as weekend warrior, sometimes as daily commuter.   Unfortunately, over a year ago I parked the bike, didn't put her away properly, because I thought I'd be riding her regularly.  Life happened (kids etc), and she sat for for over a year without any maintenance or draining the tank.

But, now I'm ready to ride again, and trying to get her back in order.   I'll be posting some questions in another recent thread, which interesting enough is VERY much like the problems I'm having, even the same model year....

Thanks in advance to all!

Thanks for the welcome!   At the moment my girl is not "put-together", but I'll post some pics soon.   She's has pearl white paint, still glossy.
