Removing compartment under battery
« on: February 13, 2014, 09:41:57 AM »
This might be a n00b question but how do you remove the little tool compartment under the seat to access the battery? I'll add it to my signature but its on my '87 K75c. Do you have to remove the seat?

Don't have to remove the seat, but may have to disconnect the lever from the guide channel so you can lift it further...

Then just a matter of moving it backwards and finessing it around to remove.

on my K100RS, there's a little hole inside the tool compartment, with a little metal tab visible.  insert a screwdriver and lever the tab, this should release the ECU, so you can wiggle/lift the box free.
