Returning to the fold...
« on: October 15, 2013, 06:48:45 AM »
well its been some time since my one and only post on here, but I have since moved back to the states and I just purchased my second K100!  Got a decent deal on a project of many recently, someone loved her for a while and added the Supertrapp, a progressive rear shock, and Throttlemeister bar end cruise controls (that threw me for a bit trying to figure out the sticky throttle! :dunno). Those all seem to have been done right and with care. Then she was sold on :deal:, dropped in the garage , stripped by a fellow too rickety to finish the job :lets-eat:, traded for a computer and left out in the rain for too long :nono, but now she's mine and I intend to keep her well cared for!!  :riding:

She had no front lights when I got 'er, and the signals, horn connections and pilot light were just dangling (but still working!) on the ride home, but she runs nice, pulls hard and sounds great!  I had a couple of Hella lamps lying around so there's something on there to appease johnny law now. We'll see how well they do for actually seeing where you're goin'.

Lookin forward to wrenching on the old gal more!!

Cheers all! :2thumbup:
