Hi, I am attempting to remove the top air box on top of the air filter and am having difficulty. The hose that exits the box and runs left to the resonating chamber on top of the throttle bodies is being stubborn. I don't want to tear it up, it looks in good condition and is $30 to replace. According to the PO it has been replaced during his tenure with the bike. After removing the clamp I pried at the end of the hose with a flat head screwdriver, but it just seemed it would tear before it gave way and loosened its grip on the air box outlet. Any suggestions?
ETA: Sorry forgot to point out that this is on my '88 K75S.
