Bikeless on the east coast
« on: September 08, 2012, 06:53:29 AM »
Yeah, feelin' major moto-withdrawal, what with the weather in the 80's and muggy as hell. We don't have a trailer to bring Chile Red back here with us when we work at King Richard's Faire in Massachusetts for two months. Kinda Suks :/

Guess I'l be living vicariously through all y'alls ride reports.

Well you'll have to tell that King Richard that it is absolutely imperitive that you are supplied with a red K75 for the duration. :deal: :giggles

That's funny Rick. Wish I'd thought to insert that clause before signing the contract.

Beer's most everywhere, unless you are in some retarded dry county in the south. Still wish I had my K :(
Going up to VT today, taking the kayaks to visit some friends on a lake who can only be accessed by water. Guess I couldn't do that on my bike.

It is a beautiful sunny Monday morn here in SE Mass. High to be in the 70's, no wind - oh, to have two wheels under me :/

Motorcycles of Manchester (NH), which has a shop in Foxboro MA too does rentals, though I don't think they have any K bikes for rent, I think it's mostly Harleys.

Chin up Charlie you will be back with the beloved Brick soon and you will forget that bikeless feeling in no time and about 1 mile or less.

Yep, I'll get home and there will probably be about two weeks of riding left before winter settles in at 7,000' in the southern ass-end of the Rockies. But that's cool, there will be Elk hunting and Skiing to plunge into as well. Maybe I can make one of those So-Cal rendezvous that some of you guys have during the winter months.

FINALLY - we are beginning our long and winding way west! In DC now, thence thru WV to OH to see relatives, thence up to Detroit to pick up a Scamp travel trailer, more relatives, THEN start angling southwestward to New Mexico!

When I get home, I will open the shop doors, pull off the cover, kiss my K and RIDE IT!
