Bought my first bike, an 88 k75s - what bar ends work? Are these C-bars?

Hi all.  I bought my first bike, a 1988 k75s, and it's missing a bar end, which is weird because when I look at pictures online of k75s bikes, many of them have no bar ends.

Is this a standard thing with motorcycles?  Will any bar end do?  Or just from bmws?  Or just from k-bikes? 

I found one for a 95 k1100, will that one work?  What about an r1100?

I think this bike might have C bars on it.  Can you tell from the pictures?  Does that change what bar ends I'm looking for?

I took pictures, and attached them, but I can't figure out how to link them in my post. :/

Take the two bolts out that hold the dash pad on and take a pic.  Or look  here.               


Bar ends:  Not standard on K75s.  Not really necessary on a K75 since the purposew of bar ends is to reduce vibration which the K75 really doesn't do.

R11 and K11 bar ends are different.

Great thanks!  The link to the parts descriptions is super helpful.  If I get something with countersunk screws I can probably just use any weights, no?  So long as the screws match.

I think they're C bars, but those don't typically have bar end mounts either right?

I agree they're not needed for vibration but that piece sticking out of the handlebar looks like it would be seriously damaged if the bike got knocked over and there was no bar end on it.  That would be a shame.

Do you mean that the k1100 & r1100 mounts are different from each other or that they are also both different from my k75something bar end mounts?  I'm just trying to figure out what to look for for a replacement.

Not welded on at the factory like the K1100s.  If you pull out the bar end mounts from your handlebars you'll see that they're held in the bars by compressing a couple of O-rings.

Oh!  I didn't even bother to try I figured they'd be welded on.  I'll go give it a yank now.

*edit*

Either I'm too weak or it's welded in.  I'll just find a weight and buy it.
