can someone please help me identify where this rubber gasket goes?

Steering head - front of the frame.

thanks but I can't find it anywhere!!! Is it on an LT only and not an RS?  I have a mixed bag o parts from 2 bikes.

Looking at that diagram and cross checking it with another one, it appears that gasket is not for newer LT's.
K1 thru 11/92
K100RS thru 1/92
K1100RS thru 6/96
K100 thru 7/90
K100LT thru 3/91
K100RS thru 7/89
K100RT thru 5/88

I've not seen that one on either of my LT's.
