Can someone tell me for a 91 K100RS if the forward fuel hose connection at the fuel tank goes to the fuel supply rail or the fuel pressure regulator? I think I may just have pulled a boner move and swapped the two

Fuel return line should be connected to front stub at fuel tank.

If the 4V is anything like a 2V, then yes, the forward hose connection is the return and goes to the pressure regulator and the more rear-ward connection is the outlet and goes to the fuel rail.
