Hi, need some help with my 1 year old fuel lever float sender
June 22 2025 - installed the new Fuel level float sender. Everything worked great.
 Then this July it stoped working. I contacted Eme for some help(warranty hint without asking)
AUG 17 2026 - sent email
Hi, 2 weeks ago my fuel gage was showing about 1/4 fuel remaining. 
I filled up and when I started the  bike the fuel gage did not show any fuel in the tank. The needle just stayed in the same place like when the bike is turned off. This morning the red fuel light came on. I stopped and filled up 3rd time since it stopped working. Still not working.  I purchased this Fuel Level Float from you last year. Could I get some help in fixing this problem?

Hi Larry,
I haven't seen a failure as you are describing.
Please ensure the plug is secure to the chassis harness from the float.
I will reach out to the manufacture if there are any bench testing procedures that can be done to verify the function of the float.
It could be the gauge itself since it is not responding, but the low fuel light is.

Hi Matt, I checked the fuel gage with a
 9 volt battery and the gage did work. This is the same symptoms I had with the original FuelLevelFloat sender. Your replacement worked great up to this point. Thanks Larry

Did check the connector removed and reconnect a few time. Didn't fix the problem.
Nothing back from them. Anyone have the sameproblem?
If so how did you fix it? Hopefully not another new unit. $300.00 US is alot for the 2nd time.

I'd remove the sender and determine if there is a hole in the float by looking for fuel leaking out of it, and then immersing the float in fuel to see if bubbles come from it. Verify the wiper arm travels smoothly across the board and note how high the float rises during the arm's arc.

The first thing to try is to remove the fuel cap assembly, reach in there to raise the float arm to its highest point of travel without stressing it, then lowering it. Do that a few times with the ignition switch turned to On and see if you get some action from the fuel light.

There also could be a faulty connection to the instrument's sender light, so explore that possibility. It is suspicious that the same symptom occurred with both old and new senders.
