Issue: rear brake does not trigger brake light
 brake light bulb is good
front brake switch triggers brake light (proving bulb is good)
 all fuses test good
BMU pins 54A, E2, and E1 have been jumpered together and pins 58E and 58A have been jumpered together to effectively take the BMU out of the equation.
with rear brake switch connector disconnected, shorting the two pins at the connector does not trigger the brake light (thus taking the rear brake switch out of the equation)
there is continuity between the rear brake connector and E2 of the BMU
there is 12v at the rear brake switch connector
the BMU instrument warning light turns off after riding ~5 minutes and does not come back on while riding.
Thanks in advance.
