Oil sight glass range
« on: April 13, 2026, 02:15:55 PM »
How far BELOW the dot can I run without engine damage?

My typical operating range is about 1/2 above and half below. That’s about 16 ounces. On a longer trip, at highway speeds, I hate to stop more than absolutely necessary. So, how far can I push my luck?

There should be a center dot, and an outside ring.
At the dot is ideal, but the ring is the min/max levels.

That's more like 11oz. You're playing it plenty safe. You deserve the Good Brickkeeping Seal of Approval. 112350

Lol. My red circle us kind of a squiggly line. I will keep it above my imaginary line like I have been doing.  4265249878
