Hi all. Just joined and wanted to say 'hello' I live in the Rhondda valley in Wales, Uk. I have a 1985 K100 that has been part cafe racered (pretty badly) by a previous owner. When i got it was running very poorly and the aftermarket clock was not working but I'm nearly there now on the essential stuff. Its just the rev counter now to fix- very erratic. I have read and re-read the post with a schematic of a solution that cleans up the signal. I don't suppose anyone has a photo of the completed unit do they? Or the exact parts needed?
