Oops I did it again
« on: October 19, 2025, 01:21:29 PM »
Good morning, evening or goodnight. I’m back in the room. While building my first custom build in 2017- 2018, I fell in love 😍 with my K100. Yes I had a few problems along the way, but at the end of the build I managed to achieve my vision and get the bike I wanted. Seven years later she is still my number one bike and I have covered many thousands of miles and had many thousands of smiles.

But yesterday I came across this beauty and I could not resist for just £475

She is a much neglected K1100 with just 35k. it hasn’t run for six years and the motorcycle dealer had taken it in part exchange 3 years ago. They said they put fuel in and tried to start it but it wouldn’t fire. Today I attached my jump starter and it turns over great. I checked the electrical circuit and found that there is a side stand switch which cuts the power to the fuel pump. Put it on the rear stand and it started.
After the smoke died down the engine is as you would expect in great condition. I’m very excited about the build but probably won’t start until next summer.

6 years is a long time without some good loving.
Someone will be clicking "add to basket" on every available rubber.
Good luck bud.
