« on: April 01, 2026, 07:23:37 PM »
BTW whenever I click on 'repair guidance' or any other icon on the top menu I get this

Any idea why?

Jon, what are you trying to access?  The forums are available from the home screen.  The sections for things like Repair Guidance are accessed after you log in.  That is because they are member only resources.

BTW, have you moved out of Costa Rica?

I get the same message when I click on repair guidance, even when I'm logged in, but the other tabs work for me. I get thirteen tabs when I'm logged out, and eighteen tabs when I'm logged in. I haven't been able to get into repair guidance for years.

After doing some looking around, my best answer is that the "Repair Guidance" link up on the bar is a dead link, i.e. the post that should be opening up has been removed.

That section accidentally abandoned ship several years ago. Filmcamera's is the first inquiry about it. It didn't have much of a fan base, unless it was an anonymous one. 177381

I was able to find the deleted post, and as I suspected it was removed because all of the referenced link within the page had also been deleted/moved so basically the page was useless.
I can go in and hide the 'button' so nobody is inclined to click on it in the future.
