we met up with walt and nancy and slabbed it from corona to apple valley...
the san gabriel mountains were covered in snow...
and it was in the 20s going up the cojon pass...
after breakfast at maxwells in apple valley we headed out the 18 to landers... it was in the 30s and 40s most of the day... but it was sunny and crystal clear...
emma jeans holland burger... victorville ca... these handmade burglers are the real thing n yummy like a moe...
the holland burger...
the brian burger...
rode some very dirty high desert roads...
landers ca...
home of the integratron...
now we are rolling to joshua tree... one thing about walt and nancy... they have been everywhere and are like having your personal california encyclopedia...
riding after a week of rain has given us clean crisp air with really good sight of the scenery...
the end of the road...
j o 1 up...
nancy...
walt...
we made it... the cold and lonely place they call joshua tree...
climbers... or rappelers i suppose...
]
looking into the valley... we could see the sultan sea and san jacinto as the air was perfect...
rolling down the hill in search of date shakes...
the super slabb... hot air balloons were lifting off...
me and nancy... brisket...
walt... owrstrich...
micki some kinda meatless wonder...
i gotts the feeling walt and nancy knew exactly where to score some date shakes...
slabbing it home in the dark...
there you go...
