4-Pin Replacement Connector

I purchased a kit of connectors to replace my fuel pump 4-pin connector (thanks to a link from a fellow motobricker) which has 10 kits.  So I have six to donate.

OK - I will send two connector sets as shown above for a contribution to the Motobrick site.  There is always a chance of a mistake in crimping.

Just further on 4-pin connector replacements -- what is the fan favourite now adays?

It seems as though a few years ago Johnny and others had suggested basic trailer connectors. Have we moved on from that? Is there a Motobrick approved option that has become more or less universal?

I've had a few random "cut outs"/stalls as of late that seem to suggest the issue is the 4-pin.

Just about any sealed connector (Deutsh, WeatherPack, etc) that will fit should work, such as the one linked in post 1 above. Many auto parts stores here in the Midwest stock parts to make up connectors as well but are greatly more expensive than ordering them from somewhere. My local NAPA store will even sell me one with wire pigtails in place to splice onto existing wires...for about $30 each.

Mouser, Del City, TE.com, Eastern Beaver and others sell them at reasonable costs. eastern Beaver has a nice tutorial on using the crimper he sells as well.
