Already delooped.

If I were to buy this, I'd only want to reloop it and immediately be looking for some loop components to add the loop to the seat, and also an original instrument cluster and some fairing pieces.

Why would someone go to all this work and then not ride it? This just pisses me off a little bit.

They're not practical nor are they comfortable. I bought a BSA Lightning café racer in my foolish youth. Used it to do 400 mile round trips on the weekend. After the first weekend it started going back to standard. The guy who I bought it off threw in all the standard parts. Over the period of three weeks I swapped out the bars, the rear sets, the fairing, the seat, rear indicators, the taillight. I also refitted the rear rack and tragkorb frames and front crash bar. It totally transformed the bike and my back.

LOL, maybe ask if the seller will throw in the original handlebars, seat, rear loop, luggage racks, speedometer and light arrangement, fairing . . .

.

.

.
maybe even reassemble it correctly to sweeten the deal?

No way would I pay $3,500. for that. It isn't even a very  nice job or particularly creative except the light shining BMW logo on the ground.

The best thing about the Lightning is that after selling of the café gear I came out of it really well. 44271
