For the Paralever pivot pin, I recommend this upgrade, relatively cheap and common-sense:

Thanks for the link. I saw something like them at EME for the same price. I wasn't ready to spend $130 + more on a bike I have not had on the road yet so I am looking for just the one. Plus Chris Harris isn't fan () ha but that was before bmw stop making the one.

That kit won't work on K100 Paralevers.  I'm guessing that there are generations to the Paralever and the K100 and 1100 bikes have gen I and the R bikes and K1200 have gen II.  Gen 2 has different pivots.  I know this because I just shit canned two sets of gen II stuff that wouldn't work on my 16V K100RS.

...but this one will: beemershop.com kit #TRA11092, for 16 valve K100s.  The place sells several Paralever kit versions.

The advantage IMHO is the ability to grease the Paralever final drive pivot pins via their removable zerk fittings, at will and without hours of wrenching.
