FOUND 75 Transmission CASE ONLY
« on: February 15, 2019, 11:23:03 PM »
FOUND

As a design exercise, I'm trying to adapt a K75 monolever trailing link and shock absorber strut assembly as a suspension assembly for a sidecar.  I have everything but the mount points for the swing arm (part of the transmission assembly.  So if you have a gutted tranny case cheap,  how much shipped to 53554.  My spare went to Illinois last fall...Thanks.

I've included a few contextual images.

I've started a thread in the sidecar forum if you have knowledge in this area.  I have yet to locate a car body, I may fabricate a bullet shape or?  If you have a car available in the midwest USA let me know.

I have a couple bad transmission lying around but the shipping will kill you from Maryland.

Why don't you ask Johnny? The way he rides his trannies he must have a complete artificial reef made from blown transmissions lying in his swimming pool.

Now that I study the parts and start designing, I've concluded that if I am to adapt a K monlever etc. I have to either create steel mount point for the monolever pivots or my epiphany of the moment, TIG the carved up case mount points to an aluminum plate base that I then bolt to the frame.  This would allow the aluminum monlever and steel frame to mate and be adjusted slightly as a unit for toe, camber, caster.

I still need to design a shock tower.
