Wunderbar foliage scoot today in spite of the gusty breeze and spitting raindrops at the very end homeward bound, 210 miles total but 60% was on dual sport dirt roads.
Skyline Drive and Armstrong Mountain are now open for fall hunting season access. On the top of Skyline, plethora of places to play off road. Believe it or NOT, there are actually spots that have a fair amount of water to contend with.
Too bad that the Beech Creek/Orviston/Snoshoe trails received such copious amounts of rain last week. Neat exploring but if the creek is high, forget about it,dangerous to cross. Hell, it's a trip even with low water levels.
Fall rut is in gear, _____ damn deer aka forest rat's, stand along the side and in the middle of road oblivious they may get run over, read mental note to self NOT to ride that section at night.
