fairing k75C
« on: August 26, 2017, 11:08:09 AM »
I rebuilt my old K75C  (1985) which had been in a garage for some years with the fairing removed.  After some heavy maintenance on the bike I refitted the fairing but I have never been happy with the refitting.  Any ideas what type of fairing this is?  It is not original - as you can see from the photo it appears to be of a  K75R?  And the big question - any advice and or links on the best way to fit this type of fairing.

It looks like the fairing from an R100RS that has been adapted to fit your bike. The front grill is missing, the sides have been modified and a nameplate has been pop-riveted to the front.

After a couple of hours search on the web I think I found the type of fairing - K75 ongar RS special.  What I now need to know is the best order of assembly. My first attempt required a lot of force to get the sections to match up.  There must be a better order of assembly !  Has anyone ever put one of these things together if so any words of advice would be welcome.
