Wheel fitment 1991 K75RT

I have a 1991 K75RT ABS  front wheel that I am wanting to put on a 1990 K75RT without ABS. Will it fit with the ABS toothed wheel in place or will the non ABS rotor have to be used?

Let's pretend that TX has a moto with its original fork, original calipers and an original wheel with original rotor carriers without sensor rings. Let's also pretend that he wants dispose of that wheel as he sees fit then replace it with an original wheel that has original rotor carriers with sensor rings from a donor moto that has the same type of original fork and calipers. Let's pretend that on their original motos, the wheels and brakes worked competently as designed. Let's pretend that TX wants to know if that swap can be done successfully.

The answer is yes. He might even be able to remove the sensor rings from the original wheel with the original rotor carrier with sensor rings from the donor moto that had the same original fork and calipers.

Next, let's pretend the original wheel from the donor moto is a Y-spoke and the wheel on the receiving moto is three spoke. After that, let's pretend the original wheel from the donor moto is a three-spoke and the original wheel on the receiving moto is a Y-spoke and that the forks differ. Then let's break for profiteroles and espresso or Bud Light and Slim Jims although the profiteroles can be swapped with the Slim Jims.

I would say that as long as the wheel is from a 2 valve brick it should work.  The ABS ring doesn't interfere with anything, and the rotors are the same for all the 2 valve  bricks.  I have swapped the Y spoke wheels on two K75's with three spoke and had no issues.  The K75S and the 1995 K75RT Ultima were the only 2 valve bricks that that I know of that had three spoke wheels that will work on an early  K bike.

The wheels from K1100 and the 16 valve K100RS won't work because the rotors are larger and have a different mounting on the wheel so you can't mount the earlier rotors on them.
