Title: New brick rider in Arizona
Post by: timlewis86 on May 16, 2017, 08:09:17 PM
I recently picked up a 93 K1100lt which had previously been laid down on the "passenger side" of the bike for $400 with a salvaged title.  I dropped a battery in it and rode it home about 50 miles.  I then charged the original battery and oddly enough it was still good.

Thus far I have upgraded the fuel injectors to 2001 mustang gt injectors replaced the fuel filters and added an additional glass one for visual inspection of fuel pressure as well as removed all of the lower fairings.  I have a lot of plans for this beast.  If interested in the link for the upgraded fuel injectors let me know, there is a substantial gain over stock performance.

I look forward to learning more about these amazing bikes and following others builds

Whoa!  DO NOT PUT THOSE CLEAR FUEL FILTERS IN FUEL INJECTED SYSTEM!

Unless you are certain they are rated for high pressure.  All that I have seen are for low pressure carb systems.  2-3psi.  Injection runs at 40psi.

Welcome,
That would be an interesting link. Would you mind posting it? What caused you to go down that road?
