Title: Rear Master Cylinder Fitment K75 RT (ABS)
Post by: lolC on May 13, 2017, 06:15:24 AM
Hi All,

Would anyone know if an '88 rear master cylinder from a K100LT will fit my K75RT (ABS) mines seized and this one has appeared on flea bay?

Thanks

I wouldn't bother with a BMW/Magura rear master cylinder.  I pissed away a pile of money and a lot of time trying to make mine work.

One afternoon doing some simple modifications to a $6 Chinese master cylinder and my bike finally stops likes it's supposed to.  Do a search here for the thread on master cylinders where Martin and I discuss retrofitting this master cylinder to the K75.

+1 Gryph  I wouldn't bother with the OEM, the retrofit is easy and cheap, I even bought a spare for stock. I did research failures on the Chinese ones and the only fault I could find was leaking sight glasses on their front master cylinders. I did pull one apart and the quality was fine, I think with the number they have sold if there were any major problems they would be posted by now. I can buy 7.5 complete Chinese master cylinders for the price of one OEM master cylinder kit.
