Title: K 1100 RS belly pan installation
Post by: wardie on May 04, 2017, 07:02:24 AM

When I purchased my 95' K 1100 RS the belly pan wasn't installed nor did it have any mounting hardware. I purchased all the mounting hardware and before I install I wandered if anyone could post a picture of what the bracket that mounts to the motors crankcase looks like mounted, before belly pan attached?

The bracket comes in two pieces and it sits offset on the motor. Would save crawling under the bike twice if I could see the pic. Thanks

Filmcamera U R awesome! That's perfect. I wasn't certain that the dealer sent me the correct bracket and your picture shows that he did. This is awesome! Thanks man. Wardie

So...what are these plastic plugs shown in the picture? I drew arrows to them :D

I think there are just blind plugs to plug unused taps in the engine.

That is where the engine protection bars would mount... or the engine lift bracket/fixture.
