thats right... other than the battery and grounds... the ignition switch is #4...
its where you do the insertion with the key... up there at the steering head...
here are some links as how to getts to it... then spray some deoxit all over the place... dielectric grease is prohibited... use deoxit it... go getts you some yeeeeehaaaaa...

Excellent link. That ignition switch needs to be burned into every bricker's troubleshooting memory banks.
So far two out of my three bricks have had whack with that switch.
The sucker gets intermittent and causes some very goofy whack that never seems to do the same thing twice. The design of that switch is so bad it's a wonder it even worked when it was new. There is almost no pressure holding the contacts together when the switch is closed. Everything in there needs to be perfect for it to work.

Almost as goofy as the old 4-position Lucas switch. At least those were all metal.
