Hey all,

Took a lot of pictures while doing spline lube and ujoint replace. Thought you jokers might enjoy taking a look see.

Final drive, swing arm, and trans were looking really tired so i cleaned them up too. Pics at link below.

Good job

Did UJ fail a long way from home? Impressive destruction.

My dad had a thing for British cars and one of them (Morris Major Elite) failed while on the way camping - conrod I think. Put paid to the holiday.

Well, the bike looks a whole lot better. Hope all troubles have passed.

Guy

PS as soon as I saw the word "Jokers" - I immediately thought you must be a Kiwi

Ujoint failed at low speed with my wife at pillion. She tapped my shoulder and asked if I heard the knocking sound.

Paralever, how many riders hurt or killed by this design?  No thanks I will stick with old design and live with the jacking.
