Just had my forks rebuilt - now the bike seems to be leaning to the left. I put 20k miles on this bike so I have a little history with it and have never felt like it was leaning before. I saw somewhere online that the forks have to be on the same plane in 3 different measurements. Can anyone find that info for me and also help me with a good defense for when I go back to the bike mechanic and tell him about the leaning problem?

I have no idea, if the forks are not aligned may pull one side or the other. It is possible (at least on a non-abs k75) to put the front wheel on backwards. Since the tire usually wears more on the right side that could discombobulate you balance. Check to see if the rotational arrow on the tire is going the right way.

can the axle be pulled out by hand or is it all bound up...
what moto... post some photos... what do you mean by rebuilt... you gotts the list of parts in there...

Chaos might be right on the money with his theory.
A customer who goes to a mechanic with data about how he should do is job is likely to be treated with indifference, resistance or even contempt. Don't waste your time or his by engaging in a futile debate. Just tell him it doesn't track well now like it did before he worked on it and you want him to remedy it.
In the meantime, educating yourself about fork function and assembly is beneficial and there is plenty of information in the Technical Library Card Catalog here to build your understanding.

k bikes should have a tool box tank too. Never have service trouble with my Ural.

OK thanx for all the good advice. I'm going to tell the mechanic that the bike is tracking to the right so it leans left to stay straight.
Here's some pics of the Cafe Rat. Bike was hit by a "careless driver" so I had to get rid of all fairings. the big Max sticker on the windscreen is covering up some road rash.
Extremely low budget cafe, and I figured out what to do with those little holes in the tank.

trying to get that tank bottom seam and hole to look right seems to be a major stumbling block with k cafes

Do you still have a fuel filter in the tank?
Hell of a lot easier accessing the filter above the fuel injector rail.
I was riding a R65 and the fuel filter split (bit further back than this one) in summer in traffic. Fuel was dripping on the hot exhaust and sizzling. Being a newbie, didn't think too much of it and rode the bike 2 km approx with the bike on a big lean to redirect the drips off the exhaust before I could get a replacement.
Good luck with the forks. Do the research, it should be something simple. The forks are sitting in the triple clamps properly I assume.

I have a filter in the tank also. I wanted extra filtering cause the tank was filthy - someone built a custom bed for the fuel pump out of some kind of plastic that corroded. I've cleaned the tank 3 times.
Brought the bike back to the mechanic who rebuilt the fork and told him the bike was tracking to the right (so I have to lean left to keep it straight). He said he'd fix it.

It was real dark, Black with a slight red tint.
