Hi folks,
Has anyone had any luck with an alternate part for the clutch bolts / screws? (x 6)
I am doing a spline lube job and figured I'd inspect the disc while I'm at it, and replace the screws. I called the dealer today to order a pack of six, and they sell them individually for $5.45. Unbelievable. They seem to just be M6 bolts, no?

What do they look like to you? :giggles
I reused mine but my bike isn't reclaimed rusted scrap and the clutch was within spec when I checked it during the spline lube operation. It only had 30K miles at that stage.

Not sure what the reference to reclaimed rusted scrap is about. My K75 ain't flawless, but I wouldn't put her in that category exactly.
It seems like reusing them is OK, I'll just torque them on the lower end of the spectrum when I put them back in. If the clutch does need to be replaced, then I'll look at getting the screws/bolts as well.

Techno, you aren't the only person reading my response and I don't encourage extrapolation of solutions to all circumstances. That's what it was about.
Your bike is a nice bike. Lovely.

Mine IS a reclaimed rust heap and I reused mine with no ill effects - as far as I can tell anyway.

Sorry for taking it so personally. Let's just say that "rusty" is an insecurity of mine when it comes to Schatz. It's a sensitive matter. Especially in the case of the centre stand.
Did Laitch just say that my bike is lovely? I should put that quote in my signature line.
