I have a 91 k100rs with a cracked upper fork cross brace . Can anyone tell me what other brace might work with this bike . Beemer Boneyard shows no stock (I will call) but I did find a brace that looks identical to mine from a 93 k1100rs but different part number . HELP
FYI I installed the upper fork brace from the 93 K1100RS and its a direct fit even though it has a different part number . The only difference is the bushing area for the handle bar mounts has been redesigned and requires a bushing change .

search K100 triple tree on ebay, all sorts of stuff pops up cheap.

$25-$50 on Ebay all day long. Good luck.

According to part numbers and info I could find the 91-92 k100rs is a different animal . I did find one from a 93 k1100rs that appears to identical but different part number . The parts that mount to this (93) bracket have the same part numbers as the 91 bracket . I'm going to take a chance on the 93 bracket if it doesn't work , more wall art . I wished I had enough knowledge to know the minor differences between some of the bike parts.

When you get it you will be able to add to the combined knowledge of this site. It is by you taking the first step that the knowledge progresses.

I'm not sure what years but didn't they change to Showa forks at some point, also changed the brake line from running through the triple clamp stem. Could account for the differences.

I'm going to take a chance on the 93 bracket.
Then you would also need the rubber mounts for the handlebar clamps as these have a different shape,
and so does also the seats for the rubber mounts in the triple tree.
