Post by: Virhiryu on March 21, 2017, 02:31:43 PM
hi hi was working on cafe racer k1100lt and i was puting new speedo on it and after puting everythink in fuel pump stop working, i try find why and find out that relay dont work(is working but didnt get connection to work, he have two, 1connected to motoric relay 2connection to ecu) stuff what i check and they are working fine:
-fuel pump works
-if i short the relay fuel pump works
-motoric relay works fine and have connections to pump relay
-all fuses are fine
-bike turning normaly
-fuel level guage works fine

i put back orginal speedo and still didnt work like it should. Only one stuff is not work are gear indicator(it shows wrong gear. on neutral he shows 4 gear)

Any idea?

What do you mean by "it was working fine"? Did you take it for a ride then or just idle it for a minute? Are the spark plugs firing now but not getting fuel? Are they wet?

I just idle it for few minutes and then you could hear pump working fine. Now pump don't work, and spark plugs are dry even if I short the pump so the injections don't work as well

I found a problem yesterday... plug from ecu had water in it and make a short... dry it of and clean connection fuel pump starts like it should and bike started like new.

Dielectric grease or heavy silicon grease helps keep moisture out.
