Anyone have any experience or information regarding road-side insurance offered by BMWMOA? It costs 40 dollars (US) in addition to their annual membership dues (40 also).
I'd be paying 80 dollars for the insurance as it would be the reason for my joining the MOA.
I've been riding years without this type insurance, playing the odds I guess but sooner or later I'm going to need it.
Open to suggestions about programs from other providers and tales of woe or satisfaction from personal experiences.
thanks

+1 on AAA
-
+1 I have AAA RV Gold. Covers all three of my bikes on top of the family's cages. Takes some of the "adventure" out of being 2000 miles from home and out in the middle of a desert somewhere.
I can support Johnny's statement on being paid. A while back I worked with a guy who drove a tow truck at night as a side job. AAA paid every week just like a regular paycheck. The other companies have different payment policies ranging from monthly to quarterly + 30 days.
Because they pay so well, all the tow operators want to be under contract to AAA. If you f-up and get any complaints about your service AAA will give your contract to another outfit. This means that the AAA operators are going to make sure they give you the best service possible.
