Hello All
This is my first BMW and so far I'm enjoying it ( There is 3' of snow here and it is storming presently) Some history on my K100, it was owned and loved for 20 years by my boss. He was excellent boss and an all around good guy. We rode together many times and he enjoyed piling up the KM's on his Beemer. The bike has 157000 Km's and has been maintained well. Unfortunately CA got him last fall but he rode until he could no longer hold the bike up. I purchased the bike from his son who said his dad would be happy it was going to me. The plan is to keep it stock, keep it running and enjoy it.
Thanks
Eddie

Welcome, Eddie. Good plan!

Hi Eddie,
Welcome from snow-less Hamilton, Ontario! This is a long province. Odd, my Beemer was purchased from an estate, also. My girl was purchased in Dallas, spent time in North Carolina, and then his Canadian owner migrated back to Trenton, Ontario, which is where I purchased her 2 years ago. She's been a fun and reliable ride....and the Beemer fairing is amazing in the cold and in the rain. Just wait!
Don't forget to give her a name. My girl is named "Heinz" in honour of the previous owner. Apparently he really loved his bike, too.

Welcome! It looks like you have a nice RS.
3 feet of snow! I was wondering where all our snow has been going these past couple of years.
I'm looking forward to coming up through your area on my way to Thunder Bay later this year. Nice country up there.

Are we looking for tent space?

Not really, I would hope to be a lot closer to Sault Ste. Marie before looking for a spot for the night.

If you do need to stop, let me know. I can set you up with a beautiful view of Long Lake or ride with you to the Soo!!

Welcome to the asylum... Another K-anadian is welcome here. The Might Gryhon and I have a loose plan to be in that neighbourhood later this year. Maybe we can meet up in Spanish if we do Manitoulin Island route.
