Think it's for the optional anti theft device.

The round plug with 6-7 pins is the 'additional lighting' plug for police lights and sirens.  I used one of the leads in mine for a switched power source for some LED running lights.   I believe the round 4-pin plug (if you have one) is for the alarm anti-theft option.
