Title: Do I need to change timing belt/chain?
Post by: zalle on January 19, 2017, 06:06:27 PM
Hi guys,

I'm so new to this I don't even know if my K1100LT has a chain or a belt...  :dunno

Anyway, It's 25 years old, and 65.000K. Do I need to change it? Whatever it is?

Thanks

Down load one of these (http://www.motobrick.com/index.php/topic,276.0.html) and read all about it.

If it is not broken, you do not need to fix it—whatever it is.

Ok, it has a chain...  :hehehe

Nothing about changing it just because... I guess it's like a bmw car then. Just forget about it :)
