Title: Rear brake disc
Post by: Garf on November 28, 2016, 05:30:04 PM
Greetings, I need to replace the rear brake disc on a 87 K75S (non ABS). Can anyone suggest a after market brand and part #. The BMW replacement is mighty pricey.
Also, aftermarket pads would be great.
Appreciate any input you can give.
PS The old bolt removal was a real bummer (Heads were rounded out by previous owner so it was the drill, heat and extract routine)

You need to post what country you are in. I've used both Moto Bins, Motorworks in the UK. Beemer Boneyard in the US. EBC, Brembo, Goodridge are probably what I would go for.
Regards Martin.

Put the state town and country next to the bikes you own, it would be most helpful.

Amazon has an EBC rotor for $179, prime, you might find a used one for $80 or so on Ebay but good luck if it's no better than the one you have now.
